at MIDLAND
We would like to warn you on the increasing number of usurpations of the Midland Asphalt name and/or some of its employees, for fraudulent purposes.
In particular, ill-intentioned third parties register domain names containing the name Midland Asphalt (or a variation and/or misspelling of the name).
These fraudulent domain names can be used for:
- Creating an active online sales site and/or an online site usurping the graphic chart of Midland Asphalt (e.g. fake Midland recruitment site)
- Creating e-mail addresses which can be used to commit various frauds
BE VIGILANT
For example, scammers may send e-mails to suppliers pretending to be Midland and/or one of its employees, in an attempt to obtain delivery of goods.
These e-mails are signed by supposed Midland employees in positions such as Purchasing Director and may include false legal documents bearing the Midland logo.
If you are facing such behavior, we ask you not to pursue further. Midland has put in place monitoring measures to detect and act against such fraudulent behavior and asks everyone to be as vigilant as possible.
